Apple will hold a press conference on October 30 to present its latest news. Many expect the company to lift the veil on a new iPad Pro, but it will also take new Macs.
Sylvain, from the Consomac site, has indeed discovered a new request filed by the Californian company with the ECC, or Eurasian Economic Commission. Very exhaustive, the application in question alludes to several model numbers corresponding to Macs.
If some of these models are known for a long time, new numbers appear in the list.
New Macs on the Way
By comparing the list filed with the ECC with the catalog of the company, our colleague has indeed discovered several numbers that do not correspond to anything that we know. Three of them seem to be aimed at desktop computers (A1993, A2115 and A2116) and the last one would refer to a portable machine (A1932).
At the moment, it's obviously difficult to determine which machines exactly refer to these different numbers, but it's worth pointing out that Ming-Chi Kuo also expects to see new Macs popping up during next week's event.
Indeed, according to the analyst, Apple's press conference should not only focus on the brand's new iPad Pro.
A MacBook to replace the MacBook Air?
The latter would indeed intend to present three more computers in order to strengthen its offer. Among these new machines, we should expect the replacement of the aging MacBook Air or even iMacs benefiting from the latest Intel processors.
Some observers also expect the company to unveil a new Mac Mini, but this rumor seems to be more of a fantasy for now.
The range has not been updated for several years and many wonder if Apple really intends to give it a new life.
Fortunately, we will not have to wait very long to be fixed since the press conference for the brand will take place next Tuesday, in a handful of days.
