The DJI’s Mavic Mini offers everything essential to be a quality drone. The flycam mini takes everything DJI has learned about flying cameras and crams it into the smallest drone from the company to date. The small size is the Mavic Mini’s main selling point. The DJI Mavic Mini launched in November, 2019, but proved popular enough that pre-orders were backed up into December. This is a fantastic drone, absolutely worth your consideration. The DJI Mavic Mini is the most important drone to hit the consumer market in 2019It weighs 249 grams, and that odd number isn’t an accident. Drones that weight 250 grams and above have to be registered to fly.
Dji mavic mini review
The Mavic Mini is so small and light (just 249g) you won’t need to register it with the FAA. With a drone you can literally slip in your back pocket, there’s almost never an inconvenient time to bring along, assuming you have a second pocket for the controller. You can’t fly the Mini with just your phone like you could the Spark. Perhaps the most crucial missing feature is obstacle avoidance.
The Mavic 2 Pro and the Air both come with sensors that detect obstacles, allowing for safer flying.Thi flycam mini has none. The Mavic Mini doesn’t offer “Tripod mode.” This simple feature found in other Mavics limits the speed of a drone, which in combination with the three-axis gimbal is great for slow, steady tracking shots. The drone uses DJI’s new app, and I’m using a beta version to test the drone. Known as DJI Fly, it’s a streamlined version of DJI Go and holds several enhancements. The Mavic Mini is fast enough to be fun, but it is not ahead anywhere in the race
Dji mavic mini spec
At just 249 grams, or 0.548 lbs, the drone weighs less than the minimum 250 gram or 0.55 lb requirement for certain drone laws around the globe. the Mavic Mini is a drone that can easily pack with you on the go, it fires up quickly and can put a solid 2.7K video camera, with a 12MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor into the sky. On a full charge, you can see as much as 30 minutes of flight time.
The drone shoots 2.7K video at up to 30fps, or drop down to 1080p at a max of 60fps. The remote control connects to Android or iOS. The DJI Mavic Mini represents a popular drone manufacturer, and makes the joy of flight with a reliable camera drone more accessible than ever. There is no doubt there are better drone cameras out there. There is nothing, I say again, there are absolutely no other drones near this price point that offer this good of video recording. The DJI Mavic Mini is goo.
