So-called CAD renderings of the iPad Pro 11 (2021) are currently on the Internet. The opportunity to give us a first idea of the design of this future Apple tablet.
It has been known for some time that there will be a new iPad Pro this year. What matters is what it will look like. Our colleagues at My Smart Price now think they have the answer to this question. They do claim to have received CAD renderings of the iPad Pro 11 (2021) from a reliable source. According to a previous leak, Apple is preparing an 11-inch iPad Pro and a 12.9-inch one which will launch in March. The firm would for this purpose decided to preserve the design of the iPad Pro 4th generation, and although some changes will inevitably be at the rendezvous.
Among the changes made, the speaker grilles were reportedly shrunk. They may even change location.
Less wide than the previous model?
While the screen size is no secret as it is revealed by the name of the tablet itself, which is 11 inches, the exact dimensions of the tablet remain to be seen.
According to the source of My Smart Price, the device would measure 245.74 x 176.61 x 5.90 mm. Compared to the previous generation, the iPad Pro 11 (2021) should therefore be shorter and narrower. The thickness should not change.
In addition to preserving iPad's form factor Pro 4th generation, records show a back camera module whose appearance is almost identical to the current model. It is notably a question of three sensors and an LED flash. Unfortunately, the configuration of each component that forms said module remains an open secret until now.
The USB-C interface always there
For the rest, we notice the presence of a USB-C port. The images also reveal that the volume control button for the iPad Pro 11 (2021) is located on the right side. As for the lock button, it seems to be on the top.
For now, not much is yet known about this new slate from Apple. Note, however, that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects it to be equipped with a mini LED display.
