Google will hold a press conference tonight to present its latest news. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL should be on the list, but it would also be a PixelBook . Part of the machine's technical data sheet has just leaked.
Synnex, a specialist dealer, has indeed put online overnight a page clearly alluding to the next ultraportable of the firm, a page showing part of its technical sheet.
According to the information provided by the dealer, the PixelBook should therefore be strongly inspired by the old Pixel Chromebook.
The PixelBook will be available in several versions
The page uploaded by the dealer thus mentioned the presence of a screen with a diagonal of 12.85 inches, a panel capable of displaying a resolution of 2560 x 1700 with a format in 3: 2.
Synnex also mentioned the presence of an Intel Core i5 and several models varying according to their storage capacity.
If we are to believe the information from the company, Google would indeed aim to decline the PixelBook in three different versions equipped respectively with 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal memory. The idea is obviously to be able to meet all user needs.
Unfortunately, the sheet did not reveal any information related to the on-board RAM or the processor frequency.
A Google Clip as a bonus?
Rumors have it that the PixelBook shouldn't go cheap, and it could be priced anywhere between $ 1199 and $ 1749 for the more expensive model. The stylus would be offered as an option at a price of around $ 99.
Interestingly, Synnex also mentioned another device this time referred to as Google Clips. In contrast, no one has yet been able to determine its nature or even its function. The product was referred to as a computer accessory and not much more is known at the moment.
On the other hand, the reseller also mentioned in his listing two different versions for a Google Home Mini, versions visibly varying according to their color. As luck would have it, these were also listed by Walmart with a launch slated for October 19 and a selling price of $ 49.
