Samsung plans to integrate the S Pen into even more smartphones. Apart from the Galaxy Note range, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will not therefore be the only one to receive this type of accessory.
This is information that is sure to delight fans of the South Korean brand. As Android Central reports, after the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung will integrate its S Pen stylus into more devices. Indeed, this variant of the Galaxy S21 series is the first smartphone from the manufacturer to have a stylus outside the terminals of the Galaxy Note range. This major change made us wonder if the manufacturer plans to abandon the latter.
But Samsung apparently has another plan.
A bold decision
“We have made the bold decision to extend the S Pen experience to the Galaxy S21 Ultra and plan to expand the S Pen experience to other categories of devices in the future. We remain committed to providing the best mobile experience to our customers and continue to actively listen and take into account the comments, " told the South Korean giant to our colleagues SamMobile.
In view of this statement, we can say that if Samsung made such a decision, it was because users had requested that the S Pen be integrated into many more devices. In addition to the terminals of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note ranges, the S Pen should therefore soon target other ranges of Samsung smartphones. This seems to confirm the rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold could be equipped with a stylus.
Mid-range devices also targeted?
Even Samsung's mid-range devices could suddenly have an S Pen stylus from now on. A change that will certainly be welcome, especially since some inexpensive competing devices already offer an accessory of this type. Anyway, Samsung has a good head start on the others considering the possibilities offered by its stylus and the precision of it.
And since we're talking about the Galaxy S21 Ultra, let's remember in passing that the terminal has a 6.8-inch Dynamic Amoled screen. It has a Snapdragon 888 processor associated with 12 or 16 GB of RAM depending on the version. For its part, the back photo module consists of four cameras (108 MP + 10 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP).
