The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro should be showcased somewhere in the next few weeks, but we won't have to wait to learn more about their display. The indiscretions of a leaker indeed give us a clearer idea of what awaits us.
The leaker in question is @DigitalChatStation and he seems to have a pretty clear idea of what the display of the next flagships of the OnePlus brand should offer.
A display which, if this information is verified, could make everyone agree.
The OnePlus 9 unveils a little
According to our leaker, the OnePlus 9 would be the more compact of the two devices and it should be equipped with a 6.55-inch diagonal AMOLED screen, a screen capable of displaying Full HD + type definition. Better yet, its refresh rate would reach 120 Hz, for smoother animations.
Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 9 Pro would go further. This time, the slab would reach 6.78 inches diagonally, with greater definition. The device would thus go up to QHD +. As for its refresh rate, it should not change. No more than the technology of its panel.
Another point that is important, in both cases OnePlus would have opted for a curved slab, with a punch whose diameter would not exceed 3.8 mm. The coin would also be placed in the upper left corner to make it less visible.
In both cases, we should also find a Snapdragon 888 . However, the amount of RAM and storage would vary from one model to another, as do the photo sensors on board.
Nice screens and big chip?
In this regard, it should be remembered that the R&D departments of OnePlus and Oppo were merged last year in December . It is therefore quite possible that the OnePlus 9 will be the first to benefit from this new strategy, which could translate into a lot of news in terms of photography. Oppo indeed has a certain know-how in this area.
The same goes for the charge, which would take up Oppo's techno and which would be able to deliver a power of 65 W. The battery should also be a little more generous and reach a capacity of 4,500 mAh on the OnePlus 9 .
As for the presentation of these devices, it could occur in mid-March and we obviously can't wait to find out what they have in store for us. If the OnePlus 8T had left us a little hungry, the OnePlus 8 had indeed totally won us over.
