Huawei may have been battered by the presidential decree passed by Trump in 2018, the manufacturer is still there and it continues to launch high-end smartphones. The Huawei P50 is next on the list and it is currently the subject of an interesting rumor.
You probably know it, but very soon after the publication of the American presidential decree, Huawei announced that it had started working on its own platform, HarmonyOS.
Designed as a flexible tool capable of adapting to each device in the brand's catalog, it will eventually be available on the brand's smartphones – it is even possible to test it now on some of its devices .
The Huawei P50 could give you the choice of platform
However, for some time, it has been rumored that the Huawei P50 could be delivered directly with HarmonyOS in order to promote the installation of the platform on the market. However, it seems that the manufacturer has opted for a more cautious strategy.
According to the leaker @HereYashRaj, Huawei would indeed intend to leave the choice to its users. The P50 and P50 Pro would thus be offered with Android and HarmonyOS. At the same time, it would be possible to test Huawei's new platform without definitely turning your back on Android.
At least internationally. Unsurprisingly, the brand reportedly intends to opt for a slightly different strategy in China. This time, the P50s would only come with the latest version of HarmonyOS.
Three models expected
Caution is of course in order, but observers expect Huawei to launch three versions of its phone, with a P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro +. The screens would display different diagonals, respectively set at 6.1 or 6.2 inches, 6.6 inches and 6.8 inches. The slab of the larger and more expensive model would also be curved on all four sides, as was the case with the P40 Pro.
These models should also show a lot of differences in the field of photography, but we will have to wait for their presentation to find out more.
